from 28 June 2008-29 June 2009, the Universal Church celebrates a special Pauline Year, proclaimed by Benedict XVI to commemorate the millennium of the birth of 'Apostle of the Gentiles.
The objective indicated by the Pope is to rediscover the figure and writings of St. Paul, meditating on his deep spirituality of faith, hope and love, and revitalization so our faith and public testimony. Special significance, also covers the cultural and ecumenical dimension. The Pauline Year is well suited to be celebrated through a network of culture and art, Bible and spirituality, mission and dialogue, the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, the heart of the celebrations, extends to the whole Church in Italy and in different continents.
The National Service for the cultural project has managed the creation of a national route, boosting the efforts of local churches and offering suggestions for living with this appointment creativity and intelligence ministry.
